The Bed and Breakfast Inn was converted from the Peoples' Bank Building
, circa 1913, which includes the original old walk-in safe. The second floor was home to various businesses including doctors and lawyers. With sturdy columns and brick facade,
the building reminds one of the days when Chamois was a bustling community and
hub of travel whether by railroad or river.
Located along the Lewis and Clark
trail, the town is rich in history.
We offer four uniquely furnished rooms,
each telling of a small bit
of Chamois history.
Come to a town where the kids still
play outside, ride bikes everywhere,
